Now, with BCS IT’s automated online backup there’s a better way to protect all of your important
data. Encrypted and compressed data is automatically transmitted to BCS IT’s secure online backup
server according to a schedule of your choice. You can choose to backup your data on a monthly, weekly,
daily, hourly or even on a constant basis.

The online backup client is software that is installed on laptops or remote home/office Computers. It’s designed to meet the precise needs of computer users, who want fast, simple and secure online backups and restores.
The online backup client sends the data to be protected to BCS IT’s online backup server via the internet, in an encrypted and compressed format. The online backup client also retrieves this data from our secure data centre when users need to restore it
To maintain efficiencies, after the initial full online backup, only incremental online backups are performed. This limits the levels of data transmitted and stored to a minimum so as not to impact on your broadband connection.
